Cranford Lodge is not your average social club. This New England farmhouse built in 1850 in Camden, Maine is only a little bit haunted.
The tagline, “We are ghosts who like to host guests,” sets the stage to this one-page website, which uses a dark and muted color scheme to match the house’s old and spooky feel, as well as bring out the vibrance of images and videos of its living inhabitants.
Cranford Lodge is romantic and remote, while only a five-minute drive from downtown Camden, Rockport, Megunticook Lake, and the Camden Snow Bowl. Just across the street is an organic farmstand open during the spring, summer and autumn.
The Lore links to a horror novella set in Cranford Lodge to further create a mysterious ambience for the place. Address is not listed to give it a speakeasy vibe.
